With a cardboard box and a spark of imagination, in 2008, Makedo was born.

Inspired by his children’s boundless creativity to transform simple cardboard into extraordinary creations, PJ, a toy designer, had an “aha!” moment: Tools. For kids. For cardboard.

Driven by a passion to curb the trend towards toys characterised by fleeting fads that quickly lose their lustre and end up in landfill, PJ was determined to create something different—something that would not only last but also supercharge children’s natural inclination to play and invent.

That vision became Makedo. More than just tools, Makedo empowers kids to become problem-solvers, innovators, and collaborators.

Today, Makedo isn’t just a product line; it’s a vibrant, global community of makers dedicated to building a better future for people and the planet through imaginative, purposeful play, one cardboard creation at a time.
